This past Friday my girls and I enjoyed a beautiful Bunny Tea at The Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego. Parisian decor’ abound- it was like taking a step back in time.

We arrived right before 2:30pm and was ushered upstairs. My girls and I had a private table for just the three of us. We sat down, the tea waiter came by and politely asked if I would like champagne and what type of tea I preferred. I went with the ambrosia. He then asked my daughters if they would like tea or hot cocoa. My daughter Emma went with the chocolate, and my older daughter Hannah went with the more sophisticated palate of ambrosia tea as well. The ambrosia tea was tropical and delicious.

We reviewed the menu and was happy to see that there was course after course of delicious savories and sweets.

After the tea, we were greeted by a wonderful magician. Hannah was called up to volunteer and had a ball! Super fun for all of the kids, young and old!

After the magician, the Easter Bunny was ready for us all! They hid Easter eggs outside overlooking downtown San Diego!

Overall it was an amazing afternoon for my daughters and I. We dined, we drank tea, we talked and it was a memory that will last forever.

The cost of the tea is a little bit higher than normal teas around the area, but well worth the extra bit of investment. You are receiving a beautiful tea on Easter weekend with a magician, and a visit from the Easter Bunny with a hunt! Can’t beat the price of  $45 for adults and $30 for children.
