HP Print and Pamper Retreat in San Diego #MyPrintlyMoms

Back in October I was invited to the HP Print & Pamper Retreat in San Diego. It was sponsored by HP and MyPrintly and hosted at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The invite promised relaxation, pampering, printing, food and more! I was sold!

When I arrived at the Rancho Bernardo Inn I was dumbfounded by the amount of amazingness huddled into one group of bloggers. Bloggers that I have stalked, um followed for years were in attendance. Craft and decor bloggers, bloggers that are devoted to all things Disney, travel and mom bloggers; each brought something new and different to the retreat, and wonderful in their own way.

The Rancho Bernardo Inn was BEAUTIFUL. Spanish decor with classic woods and tile throughout. Amazing green cypress trees surrounded the pools– it was like I arrived in the Mediterranean. The first thing I did when I entered my room was take it all in! My room was gorgeous and complete with it’s very own balcony. I found it to be the perfect spot for my morning coffee. This was the first time  in my 36 years of living that I stayed in a hotel all on my own… I missed the chitlens and husband, but man, it was so nice to spread out in that king size bed!

Our first night was fun filled. Pampering, appetizers, printing…. in that particular order

Maria Bailey and her super powered team at BSM Media, put on a carnival of discovery for us to get to know HP, PicCollage and MyPrintly. Drinks and ideas were flowing. The great thing was that I truly felt like the people at HP and MyPrintly wanted to know our thoughts and opinions. They weren’t just there to pacify the head honchos above, but rather, they were taking in each thought listening, and asking why.

When I got back to my room, I had the sweetest surprise! Talk about making a gal feel welcome and loved!

The next day we were treated to a day over at the HP offices in Rancho Bernardo. To say it was awesome would be an understatement. We were made privy to new and upcoming products, given a tour of the facilities, and even played our own game of “Shark Tank” complete with prizes! Proud to say my team won–go MyPrintly Printer!

Later that evening we were treated to a buffet dinner complete with lobster cobb salad… yes lobster… and a night of crafty goodness. HP and MyPrintly were on hand with printers-a-plenty and I printed to my little hearts delight. My favorite craft of the night were the coasters from Nicole at Mom Always Finds Out. So easy, super cute and makes a great gift—> think Christmas gifts!

Simply print out your favorite pics using HP Social Media Snapshots, modge-podge it on to a ceramic tile, dry and voila!

The next day we were treated to relaxed, yet informative conference– just my style! We heard from a panel of bloggers, the wonderful Maria Bailey, and Arlene Pellicane, author of Growing Up Social.

Later that day, we were treated to a VIP day at Disneyland! I was lame and opted out due to some family issues, but the ladies of the retreat looked like they had such a fabulous time. I followed along via Twitter and Instagram.

After returning from my glorious little retreat, I was greeted with a gorgeous new HP Printer 5540. It’s sleek and beautiful and prints fabulously! It was easy to set up in minutes– wirelessly! Plus, it came with 3 months of Instant Ink form HP. I now never have to worry about running out of ink at a bad time.

I can’t really say anything negative about the retreat; it was fabulously organized and each detail and surprise of the weekend was special. Getting to know some of the bloggers that I have followed for years was so amazing.

A special thank you to HP, MyPrintly,  Maria Bailey and the BSM Media team! All opinions expressed are 100% mine. The retreat was by invite only. I paid a small conference fee to participate.
