Tree Lighting at Macy’s Union Square San Francisco- November 27th at 6pm #MacysBelieve

Every year around this time, my family and I sit down together to make ginger bread houses, sip cocoa and then bundle up to go out looking at Christmas lights. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s something my family does year after year. A holiday tradition that I love doing with my kids. They compete a bit to make the most beautiful ginger bread house, or perhaps who can place the most marshmallows inside their cocoa… my 7 year old usually wins at that one. The most important part of our tradition is the togetherness and being a family. There are no phones ringing, or social media to update, yet five people loving each other and enjoying the holiday season.

This November 27th at 6pm, be with your family and friends making your own wonderful holiday tradition in the city! Join Macy’s Union Square in San Francisco for a magical evening; a free event for the whole family. The 26th Annual Great Tree Lighting, is Macy’s gift to San Francisco, with over 21,000 twinkling lights displayed on a beautiful 80-foot tree! There will be exciting musical performances and fun for the whole family – including a visit from Santa himself! #MacysBelieve
