Whenever I have friends and family over they always request Water Chestnut Bombs. Spicy, sticky, crunchy and bacon-y; what could be better?! The only little problem is the mess they leave behind on the baking sheet. I usually end up soaking the oooy, gooey goodness in hot water and soap, but it still requires a good scrubbing.

That’s where the NEW Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth comes in so handy! Scotch-Brite, the brand you and I trust for sponges, is bringing us a “supercharged” dish cloth. The dish cloth comes in a two pack, which are available in gray, mint, coral, and navy for $4.99 at Target. It features two sides with non-scratch scrubbing dots technology that scrub away the oooy, gooey goodness easily, yet also has the drying power of a dish cloth. They are fully washable, and reusable- so toss it in the washer after a good scrubbing! Want to check out more recipes from around the web that pack in the extra sticky? Turn oven to broil. Brush the tops of each bacon wrapped water chestnut with more soy, mayo, sugar, chili sauce mixture. Broil for a few minutes, until browned and crispy.

As you can see, the mess left behind on the baking sheet is quite the sight, but fear not; Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth will do all the work! Right now 6/19 through 6/25, save on Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloths at Target with this Cartwheel offer.

I don’t always like to use harsh chemicals on my cutting boards and dishes. Something that I like to do to enhance the cleaning power of my Scrubbing Dish Cloth is use a natural soap, or a natural scrub with ingredients that clean, sanitize and scrub at the same time, naturally! The natural scrub takes the scrubbing power of the Scotch-Brite to a whole new level, and I know it’s safe for my family, plus by using something that is reusable, you know it’s good for the environment.

Lemon/Salt Scrub for Wood Cutting Boards:

  • ¼ cup sea salt
  • 1 T olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 half of lemon

Combine the sea salt and oil in a small bowl. Cut your lemon in half, then dip into your salt/oil mixture. Place your lemon with the salt/oil mixture on it, on the wooden cutting board that needs freshening. Use a little arm muscle and coat the wood board with the lemon juice, salt and oil. Dip for more cleaning power.

Rinse with clean water, then lay in the sun to dry naturally.
